Why didn’t we think to make one of these as a uni project??
John W. Cornwell has built a Beer Launching Fridge. It tosses a cold can of beer to you while you’re sitting on the couch watching TV, proving – once and for all – that engineering is cool.

Not being a beer drinker perhaps I don’t appreciate this fully – but wouldn’t the beer be all shaken up from the launching and flying (and the nerd’s attempt to catch the can)?
Just joking about the nerd thing…
Which reminds me of that scene in Dodgeball where they throw the can of beer to the ‘kid’ which hurts his fingers, then he opens the beer and it squirts him in the face – hillarious. I am giggling thinking about it
Shaken beer…hmm, it probably would be. But it doesn’t matter. Having a can of beer flung to you on demand totally trumps the possible negative aspects that the ’shaken can effect’ presents.
Still haven’t seen Dodgeball but the description of that scene sounds right up my humour alley.
Better than the beer scene in Dodgeball is one of the lines in “The Breakup”. Picture Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn (also in Dodgeball) arguing about each others’ families….
JA: “You’re brother’s a pervert”
VV: “What about your sister?”
JA: “She’s been through a lot!”
VV: “…OF DICK!”
So sounds like something either my brother or I would say…
